Sum Kwok is an architect educated in France and Hong Kong, with more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry. He has managed a variety of projects from planning to completion, taking into account all aspects of design, programming, procurement, cost control, construction and project management. Sum has worked with leading developers, consultants and corporate end-users, developing projects in Hong Kong, mainland China, and around the Asia Pacific region.

Over the past 20 years, Sum has been responsible for an extensive range of projects, including retail, commercial, luxury residential, and hotel and service apartments. Among the clients, there are Cartier, Hermes, Chaumet, International Commerce Centre (ICC), MTR Corporation Limited, DFS Group, Lane Crawford (Hong Kong) Limited, Sun Hung Kai Properties, Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton Group, and Sheraton Hotel.

Vita Wong- Kwok is an experienced professional specializing in the luxury, art and cultural business. She was educated in Paris and Hong Kong and received her master’s degree in business administration from ESSEC Business School with specialization in luxury brand management. 

Before joining MAA, Vita has over 18 years of experience as a senior executive at Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton Group. She joined Louis Vuitton as Regional Vice President of communications for the Asia Pacific in 2002, managing all marketing communications and cultural projects. She established the Cultural Development Department at the company in 2010, developing and managing all art spaces and cultural projects in the Asia Pacific. Over those years, she has successfully launched more than 50 exhibitions at the Louis Vuitton Cultural Espace in Asia working with international artists and art institutions. She also developed cultural and outreach programs in the region, as well as selecting and commissioning artworks for Louis Vuitton in the Asia Pacific region.

Vita has a proven track record of successfully building brands to achieve market leadership and market share; she has established strong relationships with local, regional and international artists, as well as international brands and regional media.

John Wong has a background in project management and construction management with over 20 years of working experiences in Hong Kong, mainland China and around the Asia Pacific region. John received education in the United States and Hong Kong; he obtained his master’s degree in business administration in International Business Management and Information Science. He has extensive project management experience in commercial, financial and government sectors. He is experienced in leading project teams from the planning stage to design, procurement, construction, till project closure.

As operation director, John manages the overall project operations, clients and services of the company. He has worked in London, New York, Princeton, Tokyo, Singapore and Hong Kong for various global firms including KPMG International Cooperative, Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, UBS Group AG, American Express, Hong Kong Hospital Authority, and Hong Kong Government.

Edwin Chan is an architect currently based in the United States with nearly 30 years of experience as Frank Gehry’s design partner, designing some of the most acclaimed buildings in the world. He received his bachelor’s degree of arts from the College of Environmental Design at the University of California, Berkeley, and his master’s degree of architecture from the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University. After graduation, Edwin joined Gehry Partners, LLP in Los Angeles. He has collaborated closely with Frank Gehry as a design partner on many of the firm’s most significant cultural and institutional projects, such as Guggenheim Museum, Bilbao (1991–97), Opus Residential, Hong Kong (2006–12), and Foundation Louis Vuitton, Paris (2005–12).

In 2012, Edwin Chan launched the architecture and design studio EC3, with aims of empowering cross-disciplinary collaboration and creativity. Based in Los Angeles and working globally, Edwin is well experienced in projects and programs of varying scales, from cultural and institutional buildings to residential and urban design. He has collaborated with artists in designing installations and exhibitions, as well as functional workspace systems.
